Hi Bears,

Yes I do support WorldVison my self.

I'm supporting a child in Africa. Having a good live here in Europe is not  obvious, not everybody has the chance to have education and healthy food.

US$30.00 per month are not killing me, but this little amount is helping a dedicated child to get the basic care, as education clean water and healthy food.

Yes as a gay bear, I feel responsible for a child in Africa, it's not my child, but I'm taking care as if it would be mine.

Please have a closer look at the work of worldvision and may be you think about taking care about your child somewhere in this world.

Help to make this world a little better.....

Thanks

Al

Why the Hope Initiative and Why Now?

It is estimated that a child is orphaned by AIDS at the rate of one every 14 seconds. Whole nations are being weakened by this disease. We risk losing the next generation. We must respond.

The Hope Initiative
The Hope Initiative is an unprecedented campaign to address the needs of children, families and communities that have been devastated by the global HIV/AIDS pandemic. There is an urgent need to mobilize the Christian community and the general public around the global HIV/AIDS crisis. World Vision is asking Americans to join together to care for the millions of orphans, widows and other vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS and to support the work of World Vision at the local level to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Through the Hope Initiative, World Vision is helping to turn the tide against HIV/AIDS around the world.

Orphans and vulnerable children often do not have enough food to eat, have no access to proper medical care, can not attend school, and face abuse and neglect. They are growing up without the loving hand of a parent in their lives. In many cases, they must care for sick and dying parents, and care for younger siblings.
